DusQ® 9 is a nonfluorescent acceptor dye with a broad quenching range. This dark quencher is used as an acceptor in fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) applications in conjunction with dyes emitting at 500 nm to 600 nm, such as FAM, AF 488, AF 532, AF 555, AF 568, Cyanine3, sulfo-Cyanine3, TAMRA, and ROX dyes.

DusQ® 9 NHS is an amine-reactive reagent for labeling proteins, peptides, and modified oligonucleotides containing amine groups.
