Nucleic acid isolation

We produce reagents and ready-to-use kits for sample preparation and isolation of nucleic acids from various types of biomaterial, agarose gel, as well as isolation of plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures. We offer kits for DNA and RNA isolation based on the sorption of target molecules on magnetic particles, spin columns, and the nucleic acid precipitation method.

We produce several series of kits for nucleic acid isolation:

  • LumiPure series kits are designed to isolate nucleic acids from biological samples by precipitation. The main advantage of this method is the high yield of isolated nucleic acids.
  • LumiMag series kits are designed for isolating nucleic acids from biological samples on magnetic particles. This method has advantages, including a quick protocol, high purity of the resulting nucleic acid, and the possibility of automating the process.
  • LumiSpin series kits are designed for the rapid isolation of nucleic acids on spin columns. This method allows high-purity preparations and is most convenient for the simultaneous isolation of nucleic acids from a large number of samples.
  • LumiFast series kits are designed for express isolation of nucleic acids.

Isolated nucleic acids can be used for subsequent PCR, RT-PCR, sequencing, cloning, gel electrophoresis, and other molecular biology applications.
