dsGreen (an analog of SYBR® Green I) for Real-Time PCR, 100X
dsGreen, an analog of SYBR® Green I, is a fluorescent dye for the detection of double-stranded DNA, which was specially designed to be used in real-time PCR experiments. Due to its high sensitivity and perfect selectivity for dsDNA, dsGreen can be used as a universal reagent for dsDNA detection in qPCR applications. Unlabeled primers are sufficient to visualize amplification with dsGreen.
Specific features are:
- Concentration of the dye is optimized for qPCR and carefully adjusted for reproducible results using our protocol from batch to batch.
- PCR tested preparation to guarantee the quality of product
- Low fluorescence background allows high fluorescence intensity gain
dsGreen Gel Staining Solution, 10000X
dsGreen, an equivalent of SYBR® Green I is a sensitive dsDNA binding fluorescent dye, which can be used for DNA detection in agarose and polyacrylamide gels. Compared to ethidium bromide, dsGreen shows better sensitivity and selectivity towards dsDNA.
At the same time, it is much less toxic than ethidium bromide.
