The QuDye® dsDNA HS Rapid Kit is designed for rapid, highly sensitive quantification of double-stranded DNA using a fluorescence-based method on a fluorometer (e. g., QuReader 1, QuReader 8). The dye working solution is supplied ready to use, significantly simplifying and accelerating the workflow.
The kit includes a ready-to-use fluorescent dye working solution (QuDye dsDNA HS Working Solution, 1×) and two DNA standards (Quantitative Standard, 0 ng/µL; dsDNA Quantitative Standard, 10 ng/µL) to ensure instrument calibration across the required concentration range.
When mixed with a sample, the dye selectively binds to double-stranded DNA without interacting with RNA, proteins, or other contaminants. The method is resistant to impurities. The presence of salts, free nucleotides, proteins, and detergents does not affect measurement quality.
