This kit for DNA quantification is optimized for fluorometers featuring high sensitivity (HS) and a measurements range from 10 pg/uL to 100 ng/uL.The kit includes the concentrated QuDye HS assay reagent, dilution buffer, and DNA standards (0 and 10 ng/uL). The assay is selective towards dsDNA (double-stranded DNA) over RNA and is accurate for initial sample concentrations from 10 pg/uL to 100 ng/uL. The experiment is performed at room temperature and the signal is stable for 3 hours. The assay tolerates contaminants like salts, free nucleotides, detergents, or proteins.
This kit allows to simply dilute the reagent and buffer concentrates and start your measurements. The fluorometer instrument is able to read samples of about 200 uL. For sample preparation mix 180-199 uL of the QuDye HS working solution and 20-1 uL of the DNA sample to be quantified.
