Ready-to-use catalytic buffer for click chemistry (pH 7.0) containing copper(II), TBTA, triethylammonium acetate, and DMSO. The buffer has a concentration of 1.5×. This reagent is suitable for modifying nucleic acids such as oligonucleotides and small molecules.
Copper(II) should be reduced to copper(I) immediately before reaction. Ascorbic acid is a recommended reductant.
