Track cells with our CytoTracer® dyes
We are introducing the new CytoTracer® series of fluorescent cell dyes for labeling and tracking live cells, along with the first three products in the line: CytoTracer® Blue CMAC, CytoTracer® Green CM-BDP®, and CytoTracer® Orange CMTMR. The dyes rapidly penetrate cells, form intracellular membrane-impermeable products, and deliver bright, stable signals that persist for at least 72 hours and are transmitted to daughter cells upon division.

All three dyes exhibit low cytotoxicity at working concentrations and are suitable for a wide range of in vitro and in vivo applications, including tracking cell migration, proliferation, viability, and localization. Because the dye's chloromethyl group reacts with intracellular thiols, the label is retained after fixation and permeabilization, thereby making the dyes compatible with subsequent immunofluorescence staining.
The availability of blue, green, and orange variants makes it easy to select the right dye for your microscope configuration and to combine it with other fluorescent markers in multichannel experiments.
