Sulfo-Cyanine5.5 is a water soluble and hydrophilic dye for the far-red part of the spectrum, an analog of Cy5.5®. The dye has four sulfo groups which give it a negative charge at physiological pH values. The dye can be used for in vivo imaging and applications that demand low fluorescent background.
A non-sulfonated version, Cyanine5.5, is also available.
