2D DIGE Kits

Lumiprobe provides 2D DIGE Kits for differential proteome analysis.

Each kit contains:

• Cy5 dye activated ester
• Cy3 dye activated ester
• Dimethylformamide for the labeling

The structures of both dyes were adjusted during research phase to match labeled protein gel mobilities.

The labeling levels of the dyes are equalized during manufacture. Each kit contains exactly equal amounts of dye activated esters. This ensures equal labeling levels for different samples.

Performance evaluation

Here is the result provided to us by one of our customers.

Two lysates of different Helicobacter Pylori strains were analyzed using dyes by GE Healthcare (left panel) and Lumiprobe labeling kit (right panel). The images taken by GE Healthcare Typhoon 9410 imager are shown below.
